Meet Streetside Vinyl. Since taking their first steps on stage a little over a year ago they have accumulated a substantial level of attention across CaliforniaThey've played with bands such as Say Anything and Hawthorne Heightswon 2011’s Joshua Fest Battle of the Bands competition, and recorded their album "If There's A Hope"

FUTURE TALENT #15- Life On The Sideline


Meet Life on the Sideline. Originating from Hartford, Connecticut, the pop-punk quintet are making a name for themselves on the scene, despite only being together one year. Having already supported the likes of "I Call Fives" and "State Champs" their infectious anthems are pulling in fans left, right and centre. 

Before supporting fast rising Pop Punk icons "Major League" for part of their December US tour vocalist, Nick DiCiancia took time out to sit down with Est.1987 to talk influences, recording the E.P and putting the band together via "Craiglist".

FUTURE TALENT #14- Singled Out


Singled Out are the exciting breakout pop-punk/hardcore band from Minneapolis. Initially formed in 2009 as Dead On The Dance Floor, the 4 piece released debut E.P "This Has Just Begun" before re-launching themselves in July 2011. With a new name and a more focused sound, "Unfamiliar Faces" E.P was released on August 3rd. Singled Out were also victorious in this years Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, earning them the right to play on the prestigious Vans Warped Tour. Meet Angry Bears The Norwich, Connecticut trio has made short work of making a name for themselves in the local scene, grabbing attention with their high octane, aggressive live shows during which the band is renowned for forging an energetic rapport with their ever growing crowds. And now word is spreading quickly!

FUTURE TALENT #12- Taking Hayley


Taking Hayley only formed in 2010 but you will have no doubt seen them popping up all over the place. From securing a loyal and growing fan base to even playing with Mcfly, the Birmingham four-piece have had a busy eighteen months, and it is only set to get busier.

Amy Can Flyy have been away for a little while, but have been working very hard; a new EP is on the way and the quartet are back on the road in July.

We have already tipped Bradford based “When Giants Collide” for big things [ HERE ] and now we have another Bradford based treat in store for you. Meet “Talk To Angels”, an alternative rock quartet who only formed in 2007, but wasted no time in taking their talents across the pond, playing a 6 week U.S tour the following year. Having already wowed new music giants CMJ, the band has played a host of festivals such as Leeds, Wireless and SXSW.

FUTURE TALENT #5- Le Blorr Interview

For the 5th band in our Future Talent series meet Chris Hess and Adam Winn aka “Cookie” and “Hot Damn” aka Le Blorr. Joined on the road by bassist Zac “Sugar Butter” Sullivan the Satellite beach trio is complete.Their blend of psychedelic rock n roll riffs, electronic beats and piercing vocals are captured on debut EP "Bim Bom".
  


Le Blorr are currently touring the UK for the first time after being hand picked by Tom DeLonge to support his band Angels & Airwaves. We headed down to the Leeds show to catch up with the band to chat touring, influences and just how they got their nicknames!

For our Future Talent series this month we have an experimental guitar based prog pop-rock trio from Broadstairs, Kent. Meet Joe Nash, Ed Wetenhall and Joe Jeffcoate AKA- Fish Tank. Recently likened to Tubelord and Biffy Clyro by BBC Introducing, the three-piece have  released an EP to the world and are embarking on a selection of tour dates– all this and they’re still at university.
