Having just about recovered, here is our round up of Slam Dunk North 2011...

Slam Dunk celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year and if the mile long queue at the site is anything to go by then this year's festival is bigger than ever!

...and it seems neither is Andrew Nielson, not really. He compares the iambic tetrameter of Christopher Marlowe and Kanye West, is writing a hip hop history in graphic novel form, oh and his drummer has the messiest house in New Jersey.

After our weekend away in Brigton for TGE, Est.1987 is truly in Festival mode and has kicked off the season in style! Following on from our seaside excursion we will be keeping things a little closer to home this time and hitting up Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds this Bank Holiday weekend.

 It would appear that the hottest ticket in town last night was for a quirky little venue in London's Notting Hill. The curved Romanesque facade of this converted church was the perfect setting for the rich folky tones of Charlie Simpson as he goes it alone.
