Hit The Deck Nottingham // The Review


HIT THE DECK is over for another year but boy did we have a lot of fun. Bastille // New Single - "Laura Palmer" released 3rd June & Summer Festival Dates

Bastille have had a phenomenal start to 2013 and they're continuing their success announcing new single, "Laura Palmer" released on June 3rd. ANDREW W.K. // ANNOUNCE​D AS VOCALS FOR MARK​Y RAMONE’S BLITZKRIE​G WORLD TOUR

It was announced that Andrew W.K. will be joining Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg as the lead singer for their 2013 world tour.  The punk drumming icon and his band will be fronted by the king of partying for a high-octane performance of more than THIRTY of Marky’s classic fan-favorite songs!

After appearing on last year’s X Factor the name Jake Quickenden should definitely ring a bell and if it doesn’t, well, his boyish good looks and quirky style should be immediately recognisable. 

After making an early exit from the show there’s good news for Jake fans as he’s back and making it work in his favour. Second single “Walk Away” is out now and Jake is out on the road playing a few special show’s.

HIT THE DECK // Festival Preview

With a little over two weeks to go the anticipation is building for Nottingham and Bristol's Hit The Deck Festival. Taking place over the 20th-21st April weekend acts such as Don Broco, We Are The In Crowd, Pure Love and We Are The Ocean (to name but a few) will take to the stage.

Hit The Deck will now not only take place across Nottingham’s Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Forum and Stealth venues on April 21st, but also in Bristol the day before on April 20th for the first time, at the o2 Academy 1 & 2, Thekla, Fleece and Exchange venues. The addition of Bristol for the 3rd year of Hit The Deck makes the festival the biggest to date.

Blitz Kids // New Single Announcement- "On My Own"released May 13th & Red Bull Records signing

Having just touched down from SXSW Blitz Kids aren't taking things easy. Instead, they have just announced new single "On My Own" and that they are now signed to Red Bull Records. On top of this they are heading out with Lower Than Atlantis this month on tour.

Angry Bears // Complete recording to the follow up to "Stay Gold"

Connecticut pop-punkers Angry Bears have finished recording their forthcoming EP; the much anticipated follow up to their 2012 release "Stay Gold".

 The trio has been back in the New Jersey studio since February and brought in Man Overboard front man Nik Bruzzese to produce. The as-yet-untitled forthcoming EP is slated for release in early summer. To find out more about Angry Bears and their sound click below...
