It Boys! // Interview & Live Review

They've just been announced to play the UK Warped Tour later this year and have a busy summer ahead on the US leg of the tour. 


As promised here is what happened when Est.1987 caught up with Hollywood pop-punkers It Boys! when they were recently touring over in the UK with Forever The Sickest Kids.

D.R.U.G.S // Live Review - 02 Academy, Leeds


A year ago and Est.1987 were hanging out with new band Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows [D.R.U.G.S] as they played Leeds Cockpit. We chatted all things music, their fans and being on the top of their game. Read that full interview HERE. Fast forward to the present and tonight we head down to the vastly larger venue, Leeds 02 Academy, to see the “post-hardcore supergroup” take to the stage as the main support for Hollywood rockers “Black Veil Brides”.

Mystery Jets // Live Review - Brudenell Social Club, Leeds


Mystery Jets haven’t’ toured in over eighteen months and spent a lot of the past year out in Texas recording songs that have formed the new album, “Radlands”. With the new album out on April 30th the Eel Pie Island four-piece are taking back to the road playing a series of more intimate venues in the hope they can “play right in front of you and bring you the stories and sounds of the record as we intended them to be heard.”

Attack Attack! // Interview & Live Review

Attack Attack! have had their fair share of line up changes but have put that behind them and are already storming 2012. Their third album "This Means War" entered the US Billboard 200 at a very impressive 11 and the Ohio quartet are back in the UK to play a string of headline dates.

Pulled Apart By Horses // Interview & Live Review

Pulled Apart By Horses are back! The new record "Tough Love" came out in January and is causing quite a stir. The Leeds quartet is now half way through their UK headline tour and after that- next stop Europe! 
Est. 1987 headed to Manchester and caught up with lead singer Tom Hudson and bassist Rob Lee to chat all things touring, their music and comedy encounters with Thom Yorke!

Huddersfield Uni Fresher’s Week 2011 – that means only one thing, 4,000 new students descending on the town bringing with them a furore of enthusiasm- oh and lots of UV paint and copious amounts of alcohol. Not the easiest of crowds to play to then as we head down to the Student Union Bar ahead of this evening’s gig – “One Night Only”.
