Alice In Chains // Live Review, O2 Academy Leeds

Since the death of singer and founding member Layne Stanley some fans and critics have tried to turn their backs on Seattle rockers, Alice In Chains. However, their successful comeback cannot be argued.

Bam Margera’s F**kface Unstoppable Tour Review // Leeds O2 Academy

Bam Margera; his name is synonymous with anarchy and chaos, oh and hit shows such as Jackass and Viva La Bam. A skateboarder come stuntman, he’s also directed films and hosted his own radio show. However, Bam is now trying his hand at fronting a band, aptly named “F**kface Unstoppable”. Having already sold out shows in Australia and his native America, the MTV star is bringing the tour to the UK.

Est.1987 headed down to Leeds’ O2 Academy intrigued as just what the show had to offer…

Jurassic 5 // Live Review, Leeds O2 Academy


Hip hop heroes Jurassic 5 may have been away for a while, having split up back in 2007. However, they are back and on their much anticipated reunion tour after their first set in seven years at the recent Coachella music festival.

Tyler Hilton // Interview & Live Review, Leeds O2 Academy

Chances are that you may not recognise Tyler Hilton as a stand alone musician; instead many people will recognise his alter ego Chris Keller from the hit show "One Tree Hill". That aside, Tyler is a “real” musician; his latest album “Forget The Storm” is actually his third full length release and he is taking to the road in the UK for the first time alongside Boyce Avenue.

FUTURE TALENT #5- Le Blorr Interview

For the 5th band in our Future Talent series meet Chris Hess and Adam Winn aka “Cookie” and “Hot Damn” aka Le Blorr. Joined on the road by bassist Zac “Sugar Butter” Sullivan the Satellite beach trio is complete.Their blend of psychedelic rock n roll riffs, electronic beats and piercing vocals are captured on debut EP "Bim Bom".
  


Le Blorr are currently touring the UK for the first time after being hand picked by Tom DeLonge to support his band Angels & Airwaves. We headed down to the Leeds show to catch up with the band to chat touring, influences and just how they got their nicknames!

The doors aren’t open for a while but the crowd circles the outside of The Academy in Leeds; murmurs of excitement run through it ahead of tonight’s 02 show. They write albums, write film scores, work on graphic novels and are now in the UK for a select string of dates: yes, Angels and Airwaves [AVA] are back.

D.R.U.G.S // Live Review - 02 Academy, Leeds


A year ago and Est.1987 were hanging out with new band Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows [D.R.U.G.S] as they played Leeds Cockpit. We chatted all things music, their fans and being on the top of their game. Read that full interview HERE. Fast forward to the present and tonight we head down to the vastly larger venue, Leeds 02 Academy, to see the “post-hardcore supergroup” take to the stage as the main support for Hollywood rockers “Black Veil Brides”.

The much anticipated return of Panic! At The Disco has meant that this tour is the hottest ticket in town; the entire tour selling out and with good reason too. Not only are Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith back, delivering their unique blend of baroque pop-punk, but they are joined by Australian quartet [ME] who are ones to watch in 2012.
