Angry Bears // S​tudio Diary in Prepa​ration for their For​thcoming EP Release​

We first mentioned Connecticut pop-punkers Angry Bears in our Future Talent section HERE and it has been a busy few months for the three-piece. They have just finished recording their forthcoming EP. The trio returned to the studio in February to record the follow up to 2012's raw and energetic Stay Gold. Man Overboard front man Nik Bruzzese is producing the EP, which was recorded at Bruzzese's Small Hill Studio in New Jersey.

Crash! Radio // Complet​e Work on Forthcomin​g EP

We first told you about Crash! Radio in our Future Talent section and now the Ontario pop-rockers have just told us they've finished recording their on their forthcoming EP. 

The quintet returned to the studio in February to record the follow up to September's much lauded sophomore release, "For You, From The Heart".

Meet Streetside Vinyl. Since taking their first steps on stage a little over a year ago they have accumulated a substantial level of attention across CaliforniaThey've played with bands such as Say Anything and Hawthorne Heightswon 2011’s Joshua Fest Battle of the Bands competition, and recorded their album "If There's A Hope"

FUTURE TALENT #15- Life On The Sideline


Meet Life on the Sideline. Originating from Hartford, Connecticut, the pop-punk quintet are making a name for themselves on the scene, despite only being together one year. Having already supported the likes of "I Call Fives" and "State Champs" their infectious anthems are pulling in fans left, right and centre. 

Before supporting fast rising Pop Punk icons "Major League" for part of their December US tour vocalist, Nick DiCiancia took time out to sit down with Est.1987 to talk influences, recording the E.P and putting the band together via "Craiglist".

FUTURE TALENT #14- Singled Out


Singled Out are the exciting breakout pop-punk/hardcore band from Minneapolis. Initially formed in 2009 as Dead On The Dance Floor, the 4 piece released debut E.P "This Has Just Begun" before re-launching themselves in July 2011. With a new name and a more focused sound, "Unfamiliar Faces" E.P was released on August 3rd. Singled Out were also victorious in this years Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, earning them the right to play on the prestigious Vans Warped Tour. Merthry Rock, the UK's new 3 day alt/rock festival in the heart of Wales is back for its second year.This boutique festival brings together a mix of indie and rock bands, both home-grown talent and from further afield. FUTURES are set to play the festival on the Friday night and we caught up with the four piece to chat to them more about the event, the new record and all their festival "do's and don't's"!

ORANGE // Interview & Review


 Tim Armstrong of Rancid discovered and signed ORANGE when they were just 16 years old. Fast forward and ORANGE has been a band for over ten years and they’re still in their early twenties.
