St. Louis based Choir Vandals may have only been making music for the past year or so, but they are already making waves in their US home and this is only the beginning. With a new EP release on the horizon and a tour with DADS and Tiny Moving Parts, Est.1987 caught up for a quick chat with the boys.

Heya guys, so the new EP ‘At Night’ is
out on 27th October- we’ve had a little taster in the track ‘At
Night and In The Rain’, can you tell us about the rest of the EP.
The rest of the record follows the same sort of
sound. It's darker, though. It's noisy and loud.
You released ‘Darker Things’ EP a year
ago; talk us through the progress in the band and sounds over the past 12
months
The more we play together, the easier it is to
write together. We spend a lot of time together, and our friendships and
aspirations are developing. We are all on the same page about what kind of
sound we are after.
You formed the band out of other
projects that had broken up about a year ago, right? How did you end up getting
together?
I slid into Wil's Twitter direct messages, and
the rest is history.
You’re touring with Dads and Tiny Moving
Parts; what can fans expect?
You can expect a lot of energy, tons of sweat,
maybe a little blood, and some cheesy jokes.
What else have you got in store for the
rest of the year and into next year?
We've got some more plans for touring in the near
future. We are going to keep writing and playing shows. http://choirvandals.com/
