Mallory Knox // Live Review, Manchester Academy 2



Cambridge rockers, Mallory Knox, have had a phenomenal summer of festivals and winter doesn’t show any signs of them slowing. ‘Asymmetry’, the band’s sophomore album, was out only weeks ago and has already made huge waves in the British rock scene. 




Currently on a UK tour, Est.1987 headed down to the sold out Manchester Academy 2 show to see if the album was as good live as on record. Click below for our verdict…

Mallory Knox // Tour Announcement

Mallory Knox will head out on their biggest tour yet in November, in support of their highly anticipated second album ‘Asymmetry’, out 27th October 2014 on Epic Records/Search and Destroy. Support on the tour comes from Frank Iero and the Cellabration, Fort Hope and Mooseblood.

HIT THE DECK // Festival Preview

With a little over two weeks to go the anticipation is building for Nottingham and Bristol's Hit The Deck Festival. Taking place over the 20th-21st April weekend acts such as Don Broco, We Are The In Crowd, Pure Love and We Are The Ocean (to name but a few) will take to the stage.

Hit The Deck will now not only take place across Nottingham’s Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Forum and Stealth venues on April 21st, but also in Bristol the day before on April 20th for the first time, at the o2 Academy 1 & 2, Thekla, Fleece and Exchange venues. The addition of Bristol for the 3rd year of Hit The Deck makes the festival the biggest to date.

Don Broco // Interview with Rob Damiani

Don Broco has had a phenomenal past year; a string of hit singles taken from their  acclaimed album (“Priorities”) & now the Bedford quartet are rounding up on a sell out tour. So, here at Est.1987 we donned our “Don Broco Push Up Squad” vests & headed down to catch their Manchester show- the biggest headline show in the bands career.
