Who should you be checking out at this year's Slam Dunk Festival? Well we are giving you a preview of a few of the acts you should see on the day.

Today our Slam Dunk Preview features Deaf Havana, MC Lars & Bury Tomorrow...

Deaf Havana

"Fools And Worthless Liars" was one of the highlight albums of 2012 and Deaf Havana have had a non stop year since. Their live shows are renowned for being explosive and musicianship second to none.  Expect a great mix of Deaf Havana classics and maybe the odd newer song of too; you are in for a treat. Having just finished up on a sell-out Unplugged tour, announced that they're supporting Bruce Springsteen this summer and with new material on the way they are a must see band at Slam Dunk this year!

MC Lars

MC Lars, the self-proclaimed originator of "post-punk laptop rap” is a Slam Dunk favourite.  An English literature graduate his raps are current and undeniably entertaining. Expect rapping about Edgar Allen Poe one minute to Moby Dick the next and a little bit of Nerdcore thrown in for good measure. Lars’ sets are fun, lively and everyone gets involved so don’t get left behind and check him out this Slam Dunk.

Bury Tomorrow

Bury Tomorrow mix metalcore elements with melody and their live shows are lively and aggressive. With two albums under the belt the band are already working on album number three, promised to be out by the end of the year. The Portsmouth/ Southampton five-piece is also main stage Reading and Leeds Festival so be sure to get in and check them at Slam Dunk.
