Mayday Parade // Interview with Derek Sanders

Mayday Parade is back in the UK. New album 'Monsters In The Closet' came out last year and the five-piece has been riding a wave of success since then. The bands' fourth album in their career has taken things to the next level. The band were playing to a sold out Leeds Cockpit and we couldn't wait to catch up with them.
 

We caught up with front-man Derek Sanders to chat about and their huge fanbase, working on the new record and their Topman obsession...

NME RADAR TOUR 2013 // Cerebral Ballzy- Interview & Live Review

It’s been a couple of years since we last caught up with New York punk outfit Cerebral Ballzy and, it is safe to say, they have been causing chaos ever since. Vans Warped Tour // Kevin Says Tour, Live Review ITCH

Last month we caught up with iTCH ahead of the Vans Warped Tour coming back to the UK. As well as playing the main event at London’s Alexandra Palace iTCH was also heading out on the Kevin Says Tour. A couple of firsts were in store as we headed down to the Leeds show last week; it is the first time that the Kevin Says Tour has hit the UK and, indeed,  iTCH’s first headline tour. We also checked out main support RDGLDGRN.

Blitz Kids // Interview & Live Review

A busy year lies ahead for Nantwich’s Blitz Kids. Ready to build on their successful 2012, the band are getting ready to release their new album, head out on tour with Lower Than Atlantis and are currently on the road with We The Kings and Natives.

This was no ordinary The Blackout show; taking things back to the sweaty, in your face, more intimate venues the band were giving fans a special treat to see them play smaller venues in preparation for their much larger tour, kicking off in January 2013.

Motion City Soundtrack // Live Review, Leeds Cockpit

Motion City Soundtrack are back on UK shores with a run of dates up and down the country. Their fifth studio album “Go” was released in June and saw them put it out as a joint effort between Epitaph and their own label “The Boombox Generation”.

Leeds welcomed back the Minneapolis five-piece with open arms as they played The Cockpit on the final date of their UK leg. Est.1987 headed down to check them out…
