Reading & Leeds Festival 2013 // New Stages & First Line-up Announcement

It's that time of year again when the buzz starts building for next year's Reading & Leeds Festival. The festival returns on Friday 23rd August to Sunday 25th August at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park. Leeds. With two brand new stages as well as the first set of acts being announced it is set to be the best year yet.

A festival first: Reading & Leeds introduces the first three day hip-hop and grime arena with the BBC Radio 1XTRA Stage. Festival Republic are thrilled to announce "Boy Better Know" feat. "Wiley", "Skepta" and "JME" as the first names on this stage.



And if one new stage wasn't enough the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage will be expanding from one day to all three days over the festival and "Sub Focus" will be the first headliner, with many more artists to be announced.

The first headline act on the main stage comes in the form of "Deftones" who will be celebrating their 25th birthday on the Leeds stage. Whilst Mercury Music Prize winners "Alt J" will be headlining NME/Radio 1 Stage.
